The Greek parts written by Nicodemus the deacon in 1709 (colophon, f. 96v). 18th century English notes about the content of the Greek parts of the manuscript (f. 56). John Brand (b. 1744, d. 1806), antiquary and topographer: his sale, 6 May 1807, lot 13, bought by Burney with lot 12 (now Burney 393) for 7s 6d. Charles Burney (b. 1757, d. 1817), D.D., classical scholar. Acquired by the British Museum as part of Burney’s library from his son Charles Parr Burney in 1818. |
