Hans Imhoff (b. 1488, d. 1526), and Felicitas Pirckheimer (b. 1497, d. 1530), daughter of Willibald Pirckheimer, 1517: their arms and the date '1517' (ff. 1, 104v); probably a joint present from Pirckheimer and Imhoff to Felicitas who had united their families (see Bartrum 2002).
Willibald Imhoff (b. 1519, d. 1580), son of Hans Imhoff and Felicitas Pirckheimer (see Bartrum 2002).
Hans Hieronymus Imhoff (b. 1569, d. 1629), great-grandson of Willibald Pirckheimer.
Thomas Howard (b. 1585, d. 1646), 2nd earl of Arundel, 4th earl of Surrey, and 1st earl of Norfolk, art collector and politician: purchased from Imhoff in 1636 with other manuscripts from the Pirckheimer library; presented to the Royal Society in 1667.

Purchased by the British Museum from the Royal Society of London together with 549 other Arundel manuscripts in 1831. |
