Binding Post-1600. Crimson velvet binding.
Provenance Petri Arrivabeni: inscribed with his name: ‘Io petri Arriuabeni’, undated (f. 1).
David Isaac Karmi: inscribed with his name in an owner’s inscription, undated (f. 2).
Isaac Cohen ben [ .. .. ] Joshua Cohen, owner: inscribed with his name in an owner’s inscription (f. 2).
Illegible Latin inscription (f. 195v).
Giovanni Domenico Carretto, Italian censor (active in the first quarter of the 17th century): inscribed with his name, 1612 (f. 196); see William Popper, The Censorship of Hebrew Books (New York: KTAV Publishing House, 1969), pp. 100-101, and appendix § 80-84.
