Adolphus Asher (b. 1800, d. 1853), Berlin bookseller and dealer to the British Museum 1841-1853 (see David Paisey, 'Adolphus Asher (1800-1853): Berlin bookseller, anglophile and friend to Panizzi', in The British Library Journal, 23 (1997), 131-53): purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 June 1852: inscribed (f. [126v]).
Notes Incomplete at the beginning. Hair side and flesh side are distinguishable. Ruling is visible. Unfoliated blank leaf after f. 105.
