Provenance Coat of arms of the royal family of Leon and Castile: depicted (ff. 1v, 4v, 5, 156v).
Daniel Valentin ?: inscribed with his name in a purchase note (f. 1).
Bekhor Levy of Constantinople, court physician of Sultan Abd el-Hamid (d. c 1899): owner, see Sassoon, 1932. Probably based on the note which has been partially cut off (f. 88v).
