Provenance Jehiel ben David Soreq, owner: inscribed with his name, 16th-century Italian hand (f. 2v).
David Henriques de Castro (b. 1832, d. 1898), collector in Amsterdam: in his collection, his book plate (lower inside cover); purchased by the British Museum on his sale through Bernard Quaritch on 17 May 1899 (lot 484) (f. [161v]).
Notes Ruling and sometimes pricking are visible. Hair side and flesh side are distinguishable.
