This International Business Events Action Plan 2019-2015 outlines the steps the UK government will take to maintain its position as a leading destination for hosting international business events in Europe.

The Action Plan lists a set of criteria that events will need to meet in order to qualify for the UK Government’s support. This includes criteria on the minimum number of delegates and the proportion of those travelling from overseas.

By implementing this Action Plan, the UK Government hopes to achieve a step change in its support for the industry, so that it is better able to attract international business events to the UK.
