This report provides estimates for “other fuels” at Local Authority level and forms part of the co-funded Defra / BEIS National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory (NAEI) work programme and uses GIS tools to derive spatially resolved energy consumption estimates.

This report accompanies the detailed Local Authority (LA) specific data and in this report we provide methodological details and highlight key features of the reported data and trends for the years 2005-2016. Datasets prepared for 2003 and 2004 are also available, but are not internally consistent with data presented in this report.
