Extract 'From Shelley's Queen Mab', published in the Northern Star, 1839


The Northern Star was a Chartist newspaper that campaigned for political reform. It was published between 1837 and 1852. This issue quotes an excerpt from Percy Bysshe Shelley’s poem Queen Mab, which was known as ‘the Chartists’s Bible’.
