Portraits of military commanders were often reproduced in various forms in the White propaganda. Portraits of Generals Alekseev, Kornilov and Denikin appeared on numerous brochures and leaflets.
This depiction of General Denikin – a Lietenant General in the Imperial Russian Army and later a leading general of the White movement in the Russian Civil War – is part of this series of posters of the White military commanders.
