This report makes recommendations to improve the health and well being of children who have experienced sexual exploitation. It is designed to help health services improve prevention techniques and to achieve the best possible results for affected children and young people.

The independent health working group was chaired by the Department of Health. By implementing the recommendations, health practitioners can help protect children, identify and intervene in cases of child sexual exploitation and help with recovery.
