Making Safeguarding Personal is a sector-led initiative in adult safeguarding. It has arisen in response to findings from peer challenges, the response to the ‘No Secrets' consultation and other engagement with councils and their partners. It aims to develop an outcomes focus to adult safeguarding work and a range of responses to support people to improve or resolve their circumstances.

These case studies illustrate outcome-focused practice in safeguarding adults in line with the Making Safeguarding Personal approach. They are from 18 council areas. These have been selected from a large sample of cases.
