Making Safeguarding Personal is a sector-led initiative in adult safeguarding. It has arisen in response to findings from peer challenges, the response to the ‘No Secrets' consultation and other engagement with councils and their partners. It aims to develop an outcomes focus to adult safeguarding work and a range of responses to support people to improve or resolve their circumstances.

These tools are examples from a wide range developed by councils that engaged in Making Safeguarding Personal 2013/14. They were developed to support outcome-focused practice and the aggregation of outcomes measures. They are from a range of council areas.
