Description

One of the key components of J.R.R. Tolkien’s (1892–1973) three volume fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings is the map of the imaginary world in which the story is set.

This general map of Middle Earth is folded into the back of the first volume. With 150 million copies sold, the book and map would go on to inspire a whole genre of fantasy writing, imagery and gaming culture.
