Nacro welcomes the new Homelessness Code of Guidance for Local Authorities (the Guidance). They are particularly pleased with an emphasis on referring to this client group as people, rather than identifying them as ‘offenders’ or ‘ex-offenders’.

Nacro offers advice from its Legal Advocacy Service (LAS), which challenges negative housing authority decisions on homelessness applications where the law or housing authority guidance has not been applied correctly or fairly.
