To improve the quality of services that the NHS delivers, it is important to understand what patients think about their care and treatment. One way of doing this is by asking patients who have recently used their local health services to report on their experiences. This national summary provides key findings from the fourth national survey of adult outpatient services. It details the key aspects of care and highlights statistically significant differences between the 2009 and 2011 survey results.
