This report summarises the results of the Risk and Regulation Advisory Council programme of work into the mishandling of public risk; a programme which involved many hundreds of stakeholders, including the public. It is a gateway for policy makers and other interested parties into the Council's wider body of research and practical advice in the handling of public risk, a topic that is of growing and crucial importance to businesses and society in general.
