This publication details some of the community-led projects tackling working-age poverty in the UK. All the organisations in this publication are working to support people living in poverty, to try and redress people’s imbalance of power, respect, health, education, self-esteem and bring down some of the barriers of social exclusion. Each of the organisations in this publication are highlighted because of the fantastic work they are doing in supporting people dealing with issues of poverty and social exclusion but also to represent the vital work that hundred of thousands of voluntary and community sector organisations do around the UK.
