The report is published of the triennial review of Acas, the government organisation that offers arbitration and conciliation services for group and individual employment disputes, and provides training and advice on industrial relations. The review confirms that Acas should continue as a Non-Departmental Public Body, and that it continues to offer paid services. However, it is suggested that the relationship between Acas and its sponsoring department and minister should be clarified and made closer. A cost-benefit analysis of Acas's services is included.
