For your curious mind. A new programme of vibrant subjects for you to study wherever you are.

Online courses

Learn Live or join a study morning or afternoon with our brand new programme of online short courses. All these courses take place on Zoom and we will email you a joining link the day before.

Learn Live courses are 90 minute sessions with our expert tutors. Listen, reflect and discuss with your fellow participants, with just 35 places per course. Take one or as many Learn Live courses as you like, they will work well together or alone. There will be optional pre and post course tasks for those who want to delve even deeper.

Study mornings and afternoons are two hour sessions with three expert speakers. Sit back and absorb as each speaker presents for 20 minutes, followed by the chance to ask questions in a Q&A.

Who are our courses for?

Courses are for adults aged 18 years and over. If you are aged between 16-17 years, please contact adultLearning@bl.uk and your parent/guardian will be asked to sign a permission form.

Our courses are in English and are mostly aimed at beginners unless otherwise stated. Please check the individual course outline for specific details.
