Our short courses offer a variety of inspirational and creative learning opportunities

If you want to develop fresh perspectives with leading thinkers or get creative with contemporary artists, our courses are the place to start. Inspired by our world-renowned collections and research, we bring together Library experts and guest specialists to provide a unique learning experience.

Explore a vibrant range of subjects on our evening and daytime courses, or develop skills in different art forms on our practical courses and weekend masterclasses. Intimate class sizes mean you'll get the most out of every session with us. On our study days, you'll hear a range of specialists debate key themes from the Library's collections and exhibitions.

Courses are for adults (18 years and over). If you are aged between 16-17 years, please contact AdultLearning@bl.uk
