With Farrah Serroukh, Charlotte Hacking, Ruth Awolola, Gaby Wilson and Olivia Danso.

We are hosting an education round-table event, led by the Royal African Society, for those interested in the Poetry in the Primary Classroom Continuing Professional Development and Learning (CPDL) training programme, which took place from January to June 2021. This event brings together educators and artists to discuss the learning from the programme, the impact on the teachers and the pupils, and what it really means to bring African and diaspora poetry into the primary classroom in a meaningful way.

Read more about the Poetry in the Primary Classroom programme.

The event will take place online. Visit the Africa Writes website to book your place. Details will be shared 48 hours ahead of the event via email.
