Journalist Hannah Pool in conversation with Abubakar Adam Ibrahim, Ndinda Kioko, Nadifa Mohamed, Chibundu Onuzo and Nii Ayikwei Parkes.

Join us for an evening of books and inspiration as Hannah Pool invites a selection of Africa39 writers to share and reflect on their favourite African literature titles – ranging from classic texts through to new writing and forms of creativity.

Africa39 is a Hay Festival and Rainbow Book Club Project which has selected and celebrates the best African south of the Sahara writers under the age of 40.

In collaboration with Hay Festivals.

Africa Writes is the Royal African Society’s annual literature and book festival in association with the British Library.
