Comics authority Paul Gravett explores the many curious interpretations of Alice

Over the past century, Lewis Carroll’s heroine has stepped through the panels into Comics-Land to experience some surprising new Adventures - from her own American comic books and underground comix to acclaimed graphic novels, French bandes dessinées and Japanese manga. Leading comics authority Paul Gravett explores these curiouser and curiouser reinterpretations, and is joined by Bryan Talbot, creator of the remarkable Alice in Sunderland graphic novel, and manga artist Chie Kutsuwada.
