Award-winning lettering artist and illustrator, Ruth Rowland, will lead this fantasy inspired course where you will learn about and test creating beautiful capital letters in various materials.
Develop your personal design style with the support of an expert, and add some sparkle to it with a dedicated session on gilding with metallic leaf.

Tutor
Ruth Rowland is a lettering artist and illustrator with over 30 years experience in the graphic design industry. She creates bespoke hand lettering, calligraphy and handwriting for books, magazines, albums and posters, amongst many other projects. She works globally for a wide range of clients including the BBC, Virgin Records, Coca-Cola, Heathrow Airport, Country Living Magazine, Penguin Random House and many more.
