Fun and playful storytelling workshop based on the themes in our free Animal Tales exhibition
Share your stories about animals and the language used to speak to different creatures
I speak the language of moonlight to Peacocks.
I speak the language of fire to Tigers.
I speak the language of salamat to Chit Chats.
I speak the language of secrets to Cobras.
The workshops will be led by Francesca Beard who grew up on a tropical island, surrounded by sea eagles, house lizards, sleeping king cobras and a fighting cockerel for a pet. Her best friend was Fluffy, a Malaysian jungle mongrel. Now, she is a poet who performs all over the world. She loves to work with other people in order to make poems and stories.
Francesca has worked with the British Council, The Young Vic, BBC Radio, Barbican, Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Natural History Museum and more.
Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
