Join us to explore some of the possible futures for artists’ books
In recent years the book has undergone significant changes in concept and format. Digital editions, the rise of self-publishing and a renaissance in traditional bookbinding and printing skills have transformed publishing and ways of engaging with the book. Join us to explore some of the possible futures for artists’ books.
Host Anne Welsh, lecturer in the Department of Information Studies at University College London, explores, discusses and shares the work of fine artist Guy Bigland, researcher and academic Richard Carter, publisher and book artist Helen Douglas, and the Sheffield based artist Jan Hopkins. Anne is also in discussion with academic and book artist Tom Sowden.
