Black History Month

10Oct_The Making of the Black Working Class

All year round we host a wide range of events reflecting the history, lives and contributions of people of African and Caribbean descent.

Black History Month has been marked in the UK for over 40 years, offering an opportunity for us to highlight events covering the history of the Black presence in Britain, the work of Black writers and poets, stories from the Africa Diaspora, and much more

You can find an extensive variety of past events on our Player.

Also check out our related event organised by the Business and IP Centre, Inspiring Entrepreneurs: Building the Black Economy on 18 October 2022.
