A deeply fascinating evening of pointless mundanities

Boring Talks is an evening celebrating the mundane, the ordinary, the obvious and the overlooked; subjects often considered trivial, but that when examined more closely reveal themselves to be deeply fascinating.

Based on the annual sell-out Boring Conference, the talks feature a selection of speakers talking about obscure and arcane subjects, with a focus on the towns and cities in which we live; the habitats to which we have become habituated.

Hear writer, comic and actor Joz Norris talking about Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station at East Midlands Parkway, Tim Chipping introduce you to the Panacea Society (who believed that Bedford was the original location of the Garden of Eden), and Jess MacDonald – aka Miss Underground – on empty London Underground stations.

Nothing of any importance will be discussed. The event is a waste of time and money. There are lots of other things you could be doing instead.
