A packed day of book-writing comedians

Our amazing line-up includes Adam Kay, the medic-turned comedian whose heart-wrenching NHS diary This Is Going To Hurt has sold more than a million copies; comedians, broadcasters and professional Grumpy Old Women and Men Jenny Eclair and Arthur Smith; the campaigning veteran of the comedy circuit Mark Thomas, and a live version of hit podcast Bookshambles with Robin Ince and Josie Long.

Jen Brister talks about The Other Mother, her wickedly honest parenting tale, and Katy Brand confesses to a life-long obsession with Dirty Dancing. Plus David Quantick, Helen Lederer, Louis Barfe, Andy Smart and more.

Full Day early bird tickets priced £32 (£27, £16) are available until 2 January (then £40, £32, £20). Access to single sessions for Day Ticket holders is subject to room capacity.

Don’t miss The Chortle Comedy Book Festival launch on Friday 17 January, featuring stand up sets from five highly acclaimed comedians who have all written books – Shappi Khorsandi, Mae Martin, Jen Brister, Olaf Falafel and MC Dominic Frisby.
