Create your own zine inspired by the women’s rights movement on our online course
Inspired by our Unfinished Business: The Fight for Women’s Rights exhibition, use collage, mixed media and simple craft techniques to create your very own zine based on the imagery and slogans of the women’s rights movement. Using materials that are easily available, we will explore the relationship between image and text and how these can be used to create powerful images and narratives. Your zine can be a visual representation of your own perception of the fight for women's rights, either historical or based on personal experience.
This course takes place on Zoom and we will email you a joining link the day before. There will be an opportunity to ask the tutor Emma Stretton questions during a Q&A, and have conversations with your fellow participants in virtual breakout rooms.
Please note: materials are not provided. We’ve designed the course to make use of items which you may already have at home.
Live captions will be provided by Stagetext.
