Family Art Workshops: Journey to the Stars

Young participant at a previous family workshop

As the nights grow wintry and dark, journey with us to the stars

Three workshops:

Workshop 1: 11:00 – 12:00

Workshop 2: 13:00 – 14:00

Workshop 3: 14:30 – 15:30

Join artist Isobel Manning and travel through our wondrous night-time collection, discovering words and pictures to create your own winter adventure.

Create a hanging mobile sculpture that will twinkle in the dark. Build your own magical stories to watch as you fall asleep. Use sensory materials and assemble cut-out shapes to design your sculpture, then use torches and coloured lights to create mysterious silhouettes.

Suitable for ages 4+ (one ticket per person)

  • Limited numbers and activities set up to support social distancing
