27 April Family Workshop Create a map

For more information

Enjoy a family workshop inspired by our exhibition Imaginary Cities

We challenge you to make a large 3D map of the British Library’s interior; created from playfully watching and recording your surroundings, including all the interesting people you see in the building.

You will work with artists Judith Brocklehurst and Emma McGarry to explore your findings as a group, gradually creating one large collective map of the Library.

The workshop will include sound, drawing and using materials you might find around your home such as cardboard, tape and string.

This event is repeated at 13.00.

Free | Drop in | Suitable for ages 5 – 11

Drop in places are limited to 40 people per workshop and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
