Gold has long held the power to ignite feelings of awe and wonder across cultures. Join us for close encounters with some of the Library’s most beautiful treasures in our latest exhibition Gold.
This activity-packed session uncovers how gold has been used to show power, status, religious significance and beauty. Learners will uncover some of the special techniques for working with gold, and respond creatively, making their own gold-themed book.
