Explore how buildings are imagined and designed
Learn to master some of the fundamentals of architectural drawing and model making, inspired by the architecture collections and buildings of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and British Library. You will explore perspective, space, line, light and shadow to create your own realistic drawings through observation. Exploring scale and form, you will develop your design and craft skills to create your own models. Over two days you will be led by artist and educator Wilson Yau through a range of practical exercises, whilst having access to the archives and behind the scenes tours to power your creativity.
This course takes place at the RIBA, 66 Portland Place, W1B 1NT on Saturday, and the British Library, 96 Euston Road, NW1 2DB, on Sunday.
