The return of the London edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival from 10 – 12 June 2022

We are delighted to announce the return of JLF – the London edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival – to the British Library.

One of the world’s great literature events, JLF takes place in the ’pink city’ of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India every January, attracting countless thousands to engage with some of the world’s leading writers and speakers. The Festival now has editions around the world including New York, Adelaide, Toronto and London, all featuring the same mix of inspiring voices and ideas.

JLF animates the British Library with words, books, music, food and camaraderie, as a packed programme of conversations unfolds in our Piazza Pavilion, Mughal Courtyard and Durbar Theatre venues.

Speakers at JLF London 2022 include Anoushka Shankar, Shashi Tharoor, Anita Rani, Nikita Gill, Namita Gokhale, Helena Kennedy, Antony Beevor, Howard Jacobson, Kris Manjapra, Simon Sebag Montefiore, Karan Thapar, Ramchandra Guha, William Dalrymple, Shrabani Basu, Karan Thapar, Selma Carvalho, AA Dhand, Nikesh Shukla, and Mukulika Banerjee.

We are thrilled to welcome you back to the British Library in person, but many of our sessions will also be available to watch online too.
