Social media, print, online; the channels available to us to publish our words have grown. How does this impact food writing? How do you tailor content to draw in your audiences? Join this online short course to learn about the communication channels available for food writing. We’ll look at what sets the different social media channels apart from print and online writing, and you’ll also gain an insight into how the British Library can be used as a resource for your writing and research. A pre-course task will enable you to have fruitful conversations with your fellow participants and a post-course activity will help you practically apply what you have learned.
This course takes place on Zoom and we will email you a joining link the day before. There will be an opportunity to ask the tutor, Mallika Basu, questions during a Q&A, and have conversations with your fellow participants in virtual breakout rooms.
