For primary school groups, years 4 - 6
We're gradually reopening to keep everyone safe however, our onsite Schools Programme remains closed until further notice. We are exploring ways to support schools during this time and will update these pages with further information as plans progress. In the meantime, you can explore a wealth of online learning resources on our website and keep up to date with us on Twitter.
This full-day workshop takes learners on an imaginative journey as they encounter a diverse range of sounds from the British Library’s Sound Archive, from the earliest sound recordings to animal noises in our wildlife collection.
Through a series of creative activities learners will interact with sound as they develop listening skills and learn to record, remix and reinterpret what they hear, building a creative performance to share at the end of the session.
