Make a Book Family Event

For more information

What are books for? What do they look like? What’s inside them?

Join us to explore and be inspired by our Treasures collection and learn about traditional bookbinding methods. Create your very own family book using lots of interesting materials, filling it with ideas and drawings you can continue working on back at home.

Helen Rousseau is a visual artist working with sculpture, installation and drawing. Shelagh McCarthy is a visual artist working with print and time-based media.

FREE | Suitable for ages 5 - 11.

Drop in places are limited to 40 people per session and allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Our family events are generously supported by John Lyon’s Charity
