The annual celebration of poetry pamphlet publishing in the UK
This is a free online only event hosted on the British Library platform. Bookers will be sent a viewing link shortly before the event and will be able to watch at any time for 48 hours after the start time.
This event will be live captioned.
Poetry pamphlets provide a way for new writers to reach an audience and for established writers to experiment. Join us to hear from the shortlisted poets and publishers and to hear the winners as they are announced. Three Awards will be made, for Publisher, Poet, and Illustrator. The shortlisted poets will each read from their pamphlets, and the publishers will talk about their work this year.
The shortlisted poets and publishers, who will be reading and speaking at the Awards are:
Poetry prize
Holly Singlehurst, The Sea Turned Thick as Honey, The Rialto
Matthew Hollis, Leaves, Hazel Press
Selima Hill, Fridge, The Rialto
Hugo Williams, Badlands, Mariscat Press

The Michael Marks Awards for Poetry Pamphlets are presented in partnership with the Michael Marks Charitable Trust, the Wordsworth Trust, the TLS and Harvard Center for Hellenic Studies, and in association with the National Library of Wales and the National Library of Scotland.
