Read the course outline (pdf)
Using images from the Library’s collections and additional decorative papers and card, our tutor, Shelagh McCarthy, will guide you through a variety of paper craft techniques to make Christmas cards. From parallel folds to V folds, you will experiment with the mechanisms for creating pop-up cards, as well as playing with some printing techniques and collage.
You are welcome to bring your own original artwork or photographs to personalise your cards, and you’ll take home all your creations at the end of the day.
This course takes place in the Harry M Weinrebe Learning Centre at the British Library.
