Interested in social and ethical entrepreneurship?
Profit with Purpose – our popular series of events focusing on socially impactful business – is your chance to hear from a select group of successful and innovative social entrepreneurs. They will be sharing their secret ingredients for success, talking about their biggest challenges and answering your burning business questions.
As lockdown eases and something resembling normal life starts to return, our next event focuses on the social enterprises who will be opening their doors to provide food and drink – but so much more. Our panel will be comprised of:
- Sally Murray, Founder of Just Ice, an ice cream company creating employment for survivors of human trafficking.
- Ruth Rogers, Founder of The Canvas Café, a community venue boosting local wellbeing, providing free meals to the homeless and transforming lives.
- Hayley Binstead, MD of Board in the City, a board game café focused on the mental wellbeing of the community.
- Harry George, MD of SEND Coffee, which hires and trains people with special needs or disabilities in the coffee industry.
Join our Zoom call to hear the leaders of these social enterprises share how they established their businesses, what they offer and their thoughts on the challenges ahead in the coming year. There will also be plenty of time for questions from the audience so please bring some!
This event is delivered in partnership with Expert Impact who provide mentoring, advice and introductions to the next generation of leaders in the UK's impact economy.
The Zoom link for this session will be sent out 24 hours in advance of the start date to all of those who have registered through Eventbrite.
