An evening with the judges and a selection of the shortlisted authors
On the eve of the Rathbones Folio Prize awards ceremony, join us for an evening with some of the authors shortlisted for the prize, as well as the Prize’s judges Ahdaf Soueif, Lucy Hughes-Hallett and Rachel Holmes.
The authors attending will be Laura Cumming, Francis Spufford and Robin Yassin-Kassab. The evening will be presented and compered by Mark Lawson.
The Rathbones Folio Prize is awarded to the best new work of literature published in the English language in a given year, regardless of form and, uniquely, the books are all chosen by the writers and critics of The Folio Academy.

Ahdaf Soueif is the chair of the judges and bestselling author of The Map of Love and Cairo: A City Transformed, as well as founder and chair of Palfest.
Lucy Hughes-Hallett is the prize winning author of The Pike and the forthcoming novel Peculiar Ground and Rachel Holmes is the author of biographies of Eleanor Marx and Dr James Barry.
