Join us as we take you on a speech-to-text and BSL tour of our latest exhibition,  Animals: Art, Science and Sound.

This tour is suitable for visitors who are D/deaf, deafened and hard of hearing. Please book by e-mailing outreach@bl.uk or by phoning +44 (0)20 7412 7122.

On this tour you will be guided around our exhibition and find out how documenting the animal world has resulted in some of humankind’s most awe-inspiring art, science and sound recordings.

Follow this centuries-long journey through manuscripts and artworks, and learn some fun facts along the way.

The tour is delivered by a curator and live speech-to-text transcription will be provided by Stagetext and a BSL interpreter will be present. One free ticket for a companion is available per visitor. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome.

If you require any other access support, please contact us on outreach@bl.uk or phone +44 (0)20 7412 7122 in advance of your visit.

Please meet at the Information Desk in the Main Entrance 15 minutes before the start time.
