Listen to traditional Norwegian folktales of fantastic foxes, greedy giants, wonderful witches and terrible trolls with storyteller Olivia Armstrong
Roald Dahl’s mother told similar tales to him as a boy, which may have inspired his magical stories. Find out how they could inspire you too by discovering new ways of story-making. Why not make a salad with words, write a giant-sized story and perform it with your family? Be a word wizard and join in the fun.
Free | Drop-in | Suitable for ages 5 - 11
Olivia Armstrong has been weaving wonders with words and telling tales for over 10 years.
Drop in places are limited to 40 people per workshop and allocated on a first come, first served basis. This event also takes place at 14.00.
Did you know it is Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday? This workshop is inspired by our exhibition Quentin Blake: The Roald Dahl Centenary Portraits, to mark this phizz-whizzing anniversary.
