This event takes place in the British Library Theatre. 

Enjoy poetry by the likes of Elizabeth Bishop, Emily Dickinson, T S  Eliot, Robert Frost and Walt Whitman read aloud by leading actors Actors Adjoa Andoh (Bridgerton), Eileen Atkins, Sinéad Cusack, Jeremy Irons and Elizabeth McGovern read some of the greatest American poets.

The event celebrates National Poetry Day 2021 and marks ten years since the sad loss of Josephine Hart, the much-missed novelist, producer, poetry evangelist and founder of The Poetry Hour. It also celebrates 35 years of The Poetry Hour.
