With one of the founder members of the P G Wodehouse Society

An evening of Wodehousean wit and wisdom with Tony Ring, one of the founder members of the P G Wodehouse Society (UK). Tony draws on his extensive knowledge of Wodehouse and his works to present a survey of witty epigrams and longer humorous extracts full of wisdom. With readings from actor Lucy Tregear.

Tony Ring has been interested in the career of P G Wodehouse for over 25 years. A former President of the International Wodehouse Association and former editor of Wooster Sauce, he has written an eight-part Concordance covering all Wodehouse's fiction, together with You Simply Hit Them With An Axe, a study of Wodehouse's relationship with the tax authorities. He is also the co-author of P G Wodehouse In His Own Words (2001), has more recently written a book about Wodehouse’s career in the non-musical theatre, and edited a book of his light verse.
