Join us at the British Library to celebrate Refugee Week with writer Jenneba Sie-Jalloh

The Library’s wonderful archives inspire these fun and creative workshops using games, words, music and pictures to tell stories and explore our different pasts and shared futures.

Free | Drop-in | Suitable for ages 5 - 11

Jenneba Sie-Jalloh is a writer, teacher and freelance educator.  

Drop in places are limited to 40 people per workshop and allocated on a first come, first served basis. This event also takes place at 14.00.

Refugee Week takes place every year across the world in the week around World Refugee Day on the 20 June. In the UK, Refugee Week (19 – 25 June) is a nationwide programme of arts, cultural and educational events that celebrate the contribution of refugees to the UK, and encourages a better understanding between communities. This year’s theme is Our Shared Future.
