The LGBT+ presence in Tudor England.

This event will take place in the British Library Theatre. It will be simultaneously live streamed on the British Library platform. Tickets may be booked either to attend in person (physical) or to watch on our platform (online) either live or within 48 hours on catch up. Physical ticket bookers will also be sent a bonus link to the online event. Viewing links will be sent out shortly before the event.

Award-winning tour guide and curator Dan Vo is joined by Dr Andy Kesson and Ashley Douglas to unravel LGBT+ histories from the archive – from sapphic poetry and laws dictating sexual relations to the playhouse and James VI. Chair: Dan Vo. Panellists: Andy Kesson and Ashley Douglas.
