Smile and lets talk emoji
Emojis are the tiny pictures, ideograms and smiley faces that are now used daily in their millions in electronic messages. Notably representing emotions and common objects, they first emerged in the late Nineties, but are now so prevalent they have even been considered to be a distinct written language. At this a special event to discuss the emergence, character and future of emojis, we are joined by Jeremy Burge of Emojipedia and Mark Davis, President of the Unicode Consortium, the body that ensures all characters work across different operating systems.
